Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation is a non-profit corporation (501,(c)3) and a part of the Hannibal Regional Healthcare System which exists to support Hannibal Regional Hospital by raising privately donated money. The Foundation oversees the fundraising activities and supports specific Hospital projects and equipment when extra financial help is needed.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors chosen from diverse elements of the Northeast Missouri communities, and represent many different areas and professions.  The Board of Directors oversees the fundraising and organizational work of a hired President and staff working to:

• Raise philanthropic dollars.
• Be good stewards of the money raised; investing it wisely and spending it according to the wishes of its donors.
• Determine the best use for unrestricted donations and disbursing them accordingly, considering the mission and strategic plans of Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation builds on the solid foundation and rich tradition of giving which began with Aaron R. Levering, Ella M. Levering, Wilson B. Pettibone, The Reverend Mother Mary Augustine Giesen, the Sisters of St. Francis (now the Franciscan Sisters of Mary), and the auxiliary, volunteers, employees, medical staff, and board of directors of Levering and St. Elizabeth's Hospitals. Our mission is to enhance the services and facilities of the hospital while creating opportunities to take advantage of planned giving programs.
