Hospital Park

Hospital Park

Hannibal Regional Hospital held a ribbon-cutting ceremony, opening the new Hannibal Regional Hospital Park on June 7, 2007.  The park was designed to give patients, visitors and employees of Hannibal Regional Hospital a safe walking environment. The park is located at the entrance to Hospital Drive and the public is encouraged to enjoy it.

The project would not have been possible without the help of some major donors including Tom Friye of Bergman Nursery, Tom Lennon, General Manager of Continental Cement, David and Tom Bleigh from Bleigh Ready Mix and Chester, Mark, Mike and Jeff Bross of Bross Construction,   Michael Klinger, President of Klinger and Associates, Cullan Duke of Klinger and Associates, and Bill Baker of Park Place Signs.

Throughout the park are trees and benches which have been generously donated by:  Dr. Mary Ann Cheng, Dr. Richard Baumann, Julie and Glenn Leverenz family, Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Bean, Rick and Laurie Sumpter family, John and Mary Grossmeier, Todd Ahrens family and Dr. and Mrs. Curtis Burton.
