Support Groups

Our support groups are offered free of charge.

 

  • Breastfeeding Support Group The Breastfeeding Support Group provides an opportunity to enjoy the camaraderie of other breastfeeding mothers, get questions answered and check your baby's weight. The group meets on the first and third Monday of each month at 5:00 P.M. and the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 10:30 A.M. in the OB Classroom at Hannibal Regional Hospital. No registration needed. Bring your infant; For questions call 573-248-5161.


  • Cancer Support Group  When dealing with the stress and emotional impact of illness, caring for a loved one, or the loss of somebody close to you seems too much to handle, turn to us for support. Our support group allows patients, friends and family members an opportunity to discuss the ways they are managing their illness or loss, and a place to share the feelings that accompany that experience. The Cancer Support Group meets on the third Monday of the month at 12:00 noon in the Cary Cancer Center.   • Diabetes Support Group The Diabetes Support Group provides an opportunity for those affected by diabetes to discuss ways to manage and cope with the disease. The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. in the Sophia Kern Auditorium (SKA) at the Hannibal Regional Office Center, 109 Virginia Street.
